Hey guys,
I was wondering what everyone struggles with when it comes to moving abroad. I mean we all know it isn't an easy thing to do and there are many hurdles, but what do you find the hardest.
In my case, it is saving enough money so that i have a couple of months to settle in before finding a job.
What do you struggle with?
The biggest struggle for me to move abroad is to familiar with local people and start new relationship with them. Actually that means well settleing down. What's more, find a new job which can support the new life also a big problem.
I have no idea what to do there, but mostly doing farm work or labour work. but i will try to apply for supervisory work as well, since i'm doing the same now in Malaysia.
I'm very excited to start new life in NZ. Cant wait to meet new friends, new dream, new challenge and new me. hehe.
Its tough being away from friends and family.
I normally just use whatsapp and skype to stay in touch.
What tools do you use or recommend for the best experience and practicality
I live in Belfast now and have exactly the same feeling. Nobody seems to be interested to go to the concerts I'd like to go to! :-)
Apart from that, I miss my family and friends the most. Seeing my nephews growing up via Facebook or seeing pics of my friends hanging out together... not always easy.
But then again, having the chance of living somewhere else outweighs most of it!
What is it that you're doing in Africa?
Did you find everything you need? It's pretty western after all
